It is in Normandy, near the cliffs of Étretat, that Aude Hérouard draws the energy that shapes her collections. The daughter of a farmer father and an artisan mother, she grew up with a deep connection to nature and a belief that beauty is something polished over time.

Her path into eyewear began with a rigorous foundation. She trained as an optician at Le Lanchon, a renowned eyewear manufacturer in Rouen, where she developed an eye for beautiful materials and high-end manufacturing. That technical grounding would become central to everything the brand stands for.

Driven by a desire to innovate in her field, Aude launched her first eyewear collection in 2020 — a sun collection defined by timeless, strong shapes.
The optical collection followed, and the brand has grown steadily since, earning a quiet but loyal following.

Each frame is produced in small series by French artisans, made from Italian organic acetate — a material derived from wood pulp and cotton fiber chosen for its durability and lower environmental impact. Assembly, polishing, refinishing, and quality control are all carried out by hand, in France. The names of the models — Amélie, Benoîte, Christiane, Colette — are drawn from charismatic figures in Aude’s personal life, each one expressing the singularity of a character. It is a small detail that speaks to the intimacy at the heart of the brand: glasses not as accessories, but as faithful, everyday objects made to last.
