The fourth collaboration between SUPER and The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts include two collectable pairs of sunglasses that interpret the artist’s tongue-in-cheek approach, while maintaining the underground cool and luxury that characterized Warhol’s avant-garde approach to art.
SUPER returns with yet another collection in collaboration with The Andy Warhol Foundation, accounting for their fourth such delivery. The project in turn centers around an iconic 1950s motif sourced from the foundation’s archives, namely a series of illustrations of pupils and eyes hand drawn by Warhol.
These drawings have been reinterpreted in three-dimensional form, carried out on two styles of frames. Each model welcomes dedicated inscriptions inside the temples in honor of the collaborative partnership with The Andy Warhol Foundation. The glasses then arrive in a custom leather case and printed box.
